Strength and Conditioning Coaching describes the design, delivery and demonstration of bespoke performance orientated physical preparation programmes.
A Strength and Conditioning Coach works with individuals or teams, with the objective of improving performance in a particular sport.
The scope of Strength and Conditioning Coaching extends to strength, speed, power, endurance, agility and flexibility.
Another important part of Strength and conditioning is to help clients build up a strong athletic foundation, therefore reducing the chance of injuries. Following and injury, correct rehabilitation and conditioning is crucial in order for athletes to have a safe return to any sport.

I am a UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA) Accredited Coach, I have previously been the Strength and Conditioning for Bristol Rovers FC Youth Academy and also worked with Cardiff Metropolitan University Athletics, as well as individual clients over many years.

I offer a free initial 15 minute consultation to meet in person or phone to discuss your sport, your current training programme and to make a basic assessment of your fitness.
Coaching can be delivered at either outdoors, in your home or in local gyms in Ilkley dependent upon your training programme.

Core Sculpt is a series of 12 x 15 minute strength sessions in video format for home use. The sessions are designed for:
- Runners who want to improve their core strength and running economy
- Cyclists who wants to improve their core strength and improve any lower back pain
- For anyone who wants to do quick core sessions at home that requires little equipment
